Like any other resource, farming it is the easiest with a Despoil Nekros, Pilfering Strangledome Khora, Speed Nova, a Warframe that can heal, Smeeta Kavat, a Resource Booster, Resource Drop Chance Booster, and a Resource Drop Chance Blessing.

Drops will disappear some time if not picked up for more then a few minutes. It appears Tellurium only drops if the mission shows this mission as Submersible or Archwing. Uranus Ophelia (submersible) is an ok mission to get some Tellurium.
