Yeah you need piloting at max to get top level ships to spawn. Anywho, It seemed all my ships were bugged. I fixed it by fast travelling into a different system and landing. Was ok after that. #2. I know others have experienced the glitch where your ship disappears. The fix is to modify your ship and then things should be good. Except they are not. When I fly into orbit it is extremely glitched looking and I cannot control ship. Everything now is just weird too. Like my game has been glitching nonstop.Swap a ship to be a different home ship then swap back. Bug happens when you steal and then take over a ship then modifying increases frequency of the issue.
