That should allow friends to see your games list. For some reason, the privacy settings between the friends list and games list are linked. If you ever want the game back on your account you can go through the whole process again and just choose " this game is missing from my library".

Then those rubbish games are only visible in the (then created) "hidden" Tab. To hide a game from your library right-click the game, choose "set category" and then check the box "Hide this game in my library".
