May 5, 2011 · Can someone please tell me what years the LB7, LBy, LBz, and LMM where in production. I am about to buy a new truck, and wondering what years models have certain motors in them. I use to own a 2004 LB7, which was an awesome truck, until a cheap air compressor plugged into the cigarette lighter caught the truck on fire. :booboo

The alternator (with a ~180 degree belt wrap) sitting 1/4" higher dictates that the tensioner (also with a ~180 degree wrap) must swing about 1/4" further out. With the tensioner arm length at around 3.5", that only comes out to about 4 degrees.
