I have installed Deere’s arm repair kits and Shoup is a copy but they added the spacer and shims.Major downfall is the planter is heavy. First off, we just got it out to get it prepped for planting season. When we try and lift the wing wheels to unfold, right side wing wheels will lift just fine, left side can barely lift itself. We had 1780 12/23 that we used for beans only for quite a while and it did a fine job, for the money that they are asking for them I think it would be a good move for a bean only planter. We traded our 1780 and a 16 row 1770 recently for a 1790 16-31. I think they are asking somewhere between 25 and 30 for the 1780.The 1770 has a better lifting system than the 7200 series .
