The problem with conversion barrels on a G21 or 41 slide is that the 45 ACP slide has a larger breech face and the extractors don't line up and don't get a secure purchase on the smaller 10mm rim. The frames are identical and the magazines are identical externally. A Glock 41 with a complete Glock 40 "upper" will be 100% reliable.

Anybody get a 10mm barrel for their 41 or is that not possible? I don't have a 41 but keep seeing used ones and I could use a .45. I carry my G21 with a round in the chamber and a full magazine. At the end of the day I unload the firearm, squeeze the trigger to dryfire it, and load the magazine in before going to bed (chamber is now empty). When I wake up to carry I rack the slide to load a round and insert it in the holster.
