So I killed patches on accident before I knew that the best talisman for 30 faith was the canvas talisman. What's the second best for that faith aside from darkmoon?

The Sunless Talisman only gives the INT scaling for Dark miracles like Caitha's Chime. Since Darkmoon Blade is a Magic damage buff, then probably none of those catalysts will apply their INT scaling boosts to it.
