Hello! I had my NIPT completed yesterday through Natera. I opted to do the self-pay option as I’ve read it would be cheaper to self-pay. Natera told me it would be around 400$ if my deductible wasn’t met (which it isn’t). My question is do I need to call them and ask for the 250$ self-pay rate or did...You should call natera directly. I received a $5k bill for Gentic testing with my first pregnancy. This time around I called my ins first and natera directly. Most ins will not cover the test unless you are over 35. Natera Billing is driving me mad. I had the Horizon genetic screening test in March, I received the results and they billed my insurance over $13K which was denied. As per my insurance, it says I got a plan discount and owe $0. I have yet to be mailed a bill for this and my case number is now coming up as invalid in their portal.
