I am setting up a Mathews No Cam HTR with 28" 85% letoff mods. On the draw board it measures 27" from the back of the grip to the string where is meets the throat of the nock. Add 1.75 per AMO and you get 28.75". That seems pretty long for a 28" mod.Actually the HTX is faster. It only goes to a 28 inch draw length so you are comparing it at 28 to the HTR at 30. It's faster because of the reduced brace height. But it is also less forgiving. The HTR is one of the most forgiving and smoothest drawing bows Mathews has ever made in my opinion. Get an HTR and never look back.Mathews no cam htr problems (Solved) Mathews no cam htr problems occur when the bowstring is not taut enough, and the arrow cannot be drawn back. As a result, you may face a slower draw cycle. Bows can be damaged and inaccurate if this happens. Bows made by Mathews are designed to work with a string pulled tight enough to prevent this problem.
