I ordered instacart today and something odd happened. I ordered anerican cheese, but the shopper replaced it with a more expensive turkey, yet delivered cheese and no turkey. Obviously i had it tsken off because it was incorrect, but like is this a common scam or was this shopper greedy and stupid? Itd happened once or twice before.Instacart would definitely be on the hook to pay the difference. Same thing if a store was to label an item with the wrong price, they have to honor it. She was also going to refer my other daughter because the bonus had gone up to $1000. Then you get a call back from someone who's says they are Instacart support they say your account has been flagged for fraud. They give a story about shoppers using other people to shop for them etc They ask for a verification code you are sent by Instacart to verify you account. They say you can't log in for 2 hours or you'll be deactivated.

Scan as usual but don't purchase them. Instead, add the gift cards to the purchase and Instacart approves the transaction because they think you purchased the added items.
