Glock 43x problems.

Aug 10, 2023 · Glock 43x failures to feed. Looking for anyone else who has had magazines for the 43x, failures to feed. I've had the gun since March, and have put 300 rounds through it, with three different magazines. Today was the second "fail to feed." It didn't jam, but when I tried to fire it, it was like dry firing. This is the usual cause for the trigger not resetting after somebody's worked on these newer/later Glocks. (former) Glock & 1911 Armorer; usually carrying a Glock, but sometimes, instead, some other brand. LEO, now retired. My problem is with an unloaded magazine in the gun if I pull the slide all the way to open locked position I can't close slide. It won't release by pushing the slide stop lever or pulling back a little more on the slide and releasing. The box says they sent the correct one. Figured I’d ask here before I contact GlockStore. UPDATE!!! A factory 43x mag will actually hold 11 rounds. BUT it will swell the top of the mag just enough that it puts pressure on the mag release making it not work right and not hold the mag in either. Who knew! 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Bought a new 43X Saturday and took it to the range yesterday. Shot 4 magazines without issue, but at the end of the 5th magazine the slide failed to lock open. I quickly checked and the last spent casing had been ejected, but the slide would not open all the way, it lacked maybe 1/2" to 3/4" of ... Get a loader like an uplula, and load and unload the mags by hand several times, and press up and down on the follower several times between each round before putting the next one in. This will add quick, easy cycles to the spring and break it in. Also, please use some punctuation.Got thru about 35 rounds and trigger didn’t reset. Pull slide back 1/2” and trigger resets. Keep going and it happened about 8 times out of 100 rounds. I made sure my finger was pulling off trigger every time, not that it should matter. Slide gets hotter than any of my other glocks as well. (others are all gen4).

Adding my experience. Two Glock 43x. Glock store extended controls and mag release. Two S15 mags. Based on the 'bumps' photo above I guess mine are Gen 2. Both magazines in both Glock's have the same failures. 1. Failure to feed on slide release. 2. Failure to eject round one. Not quite a stove pipe, just stuck horizontally.
