Ive noticed alot of pulling trucks are going dual.The duals are dana 80 ,and singles are 10.25 or 10.50 I think. 99 F350 4x4 dually. 7.3 w/K&N af.

I thought about just using adapters, but the axle I have needs wheel bearings/hubs assemblies anyways, so I figured I would just do it right if possible.

The rear axles on the dually are wider than the SRW trucks. I know the beds are a little different on a reg. dually, not sure about the Megacab dually though.Just to keep the facts straight the DWR Dana 80 axle is wider then a single by and 1". The 16" dually wheel will not fit over the SRW Drum. They do make a 2" spacers that allow 16" dually wheels to fit your SRW axle which would put you 1" wider then a DWR dana 80 axle .same truck, my truck is a 1996 ram 2500 12v cummins. used the hub adapters off a 96 for the front, had to mill out the adapters on the inside about 1/8th to get them to set flush on the hubs. swapped the entire rear axle for a dual rear wheel. got 7 16" wheels from the same 1996 ram 3500. bleed brakes and drive on.Dual Rear Wheel I.
