This might have already been mentioned, but what I was told was 115 vs 124 is: 115 is lighter and faster, 124 is a little slower, but packs a bigger punch. (using both WWB and federal) I carry the 124 gr speer gold dots (the P+ 1150 fps version, not the 1080) as a carry load. I purchased 2 boxes of the usual, and 2 boxes of the 147 gr. A very common load is Speer Gold Dot 124gr+P. The +P provides more velocity. Also the shorter your barrel the less velocity you would get out of your bullet.
