Flame of Redmane does not do much damage. It also has a long start-up animation and only medium range. It's strong, but to be honest staggers and critical are not very good DPS, they are just safe. Bleeds or RKR crushing does far more damage. Colossal weapons don't actually even want to use criticals on poise break. yup. redmanes and fallingstar beast jaw were ranged spam to win crit machines. its not that redmanes isnt viable - its a great source of ranged damage that can be put on a wide variety of weapons, including stuff like hammers, that often dont have many options for good offensive longer range ashes of war. its that you cant just spam redmanes(or beast jaw) from range for easy crits anymoreHowever, another skill has strengthened in intensity to knock it out from its throne, the Flame of the Redmanes.
