The new Charles Daly 1911's are decent guns. Problems are mostly mag related. I've had a couple of them. Not in the league with Kimber, Colt or Springfield as Xracer states, But with a little tweeking make a reliable weapon. The Maverick has a 1 year warranty, the 500 has a 10 year warranty.
