Monday, codes were indicating the primary alternator was running way out of spec. They tried downloading a new software version to the ECM but that didn't solve the problem. They ordered a new alternator.

A couple of thoughts on this. If you screw up something with the wheel speed sensors you cause all 3 functions of the ABS system to fail. So if you don't see 3 service messages the problem isn't caused by a wheel speed sensor.
