Bg3 stuck on loading screen.

Dealing with the exact same issue. I can launch it past the Laurain launcher but once it gets pass the 2 production companies and then shows the first loading screen it freezes and then crashes. I have tried every verision of Proton and Vulcan and DirectX been dealing with this issue for 3 days now.You "disable" the GOG / Steam Overlay by starting BG directly by going to your BG3 installtion directory and starting (double-click) bg3.exe (Vulkan) or bg3_dx11.exe (DX 11) I doubt achievements will count when using variant 2 but I'm not 100% sure.
