There is so little physical difference between the WAA20F1, and the CB1078-20. The Remington SP20 was the last 1 ounce wad for 20 gauge tapered hulls, and they are scarce also. They appear to be identical to RXP 20 wads except they have a rib running up the inside of each petal. Other than the rib, the two wads seem to have identical dimensions.

I do not load a lot of 20 ga. - 1 oz. loads these days, but those few I do, I use 22g of Blue Dot in a Rem hull with the SP-20 wad. Alliant has plenty of data for your primers listed on their web site. I would recommend the 20 ga. I use sp20 wads which were available a few months back, but I am not sure if they are still in stock anywhere. You won't be able to fit 1oz in a cb1078 in those hulls. MAYBE the actual waa20 which is a tiny bit shorter, but i doubt it. Even then the only recipe i know of is 15gr wsf. I load 16gr wsf in sp20 for 1oz.

I also loaded them in the Old Rem RXP cases with the CCI209 primer and everything else the same. This load was at 1165fps, 9,800psi. These loads came straight out of the IMR manual and I loaded them for over 25yrs. No this wad isn't the same as the SP20 wad. The "s" means stitched wad, that is the wad is connected at the top of the slits. Supposed to break apart upon firing. Its main purpose is to ease feeding of the wad on some reloading machines. For reload recipe purposes, it is the same wad.
