I noticed the other day while driving that the radiator fan was on. It seems to be on full blast too. The jeep isn't running hot at all. The temp needle never gets past half or even up to half way. I have a 2012 jeep jku sport, It runs hot only while driving, as soon as I park it and just let it idle it cooks down to around 208-215 and stays constant, while driving it has/will get as high as 245, but will fluctuate from 228-235. Hey guys, I have a question. I have a 2010 jku sport. 3.8 that’s running hot. I’ve flushed the radiator, new water pump, thermostat and housing, and new coolant temperature sensor. I’ve burped the system a few times to get out air, and replaced the radiator cap.

It sounds like you are describing some sensor issues that occur when the the Jeep switches to closed loop operation. Test the O2 sensors, they can get old and slow to react.
