As I recall it, the Guardian subscription is separate from the XM radio subscription, but by the same company.

The pricing scheme for Guardian is robbery. Tesla charges $100/yr for full LTE access for maps, streaming, etc. and yet Sirius is charging $20 a month for practically NOTHING. The remote commands should be a separate option for a few bucks a month at most, or included if you pay for LTE.
