When I purchased my bow I went to my local pro shop and shot Mathews, Hoyt and Bowtech. Out of the 3, the Bowtech was a smoother draw all the way back to the 85% let off point because of its design. The Mathews was set at 65lb like the others but it had a hard cam design and for me it was very hard to pull back to the let off point.

I have shot a bunch of different bows in the past 3-4 years before shooting an Athens 2 years ago and will only be buying there bows from now on.
