I have a lot of work to do before I'm really comfortable with the gun, but the basics are there for a reliable duty pistol, or a suitable gun for personal defense. The XD45 is right in between the 30 and 36 in terms of width. I was surprised when I put the XD next to the 36 and the 36 was just a touch thinner.
