Firelei Báez (b. 1980, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic) received an M.F.A. from Hunter College, a B.F.A. from the Cooper Union’s School of Art, and studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. The artist currently lives and works in New York and is currently represented by James Cohan Gallery.Firelei Báez (b. 1981) is a Dominican-American artist who lives and works in New York.
