Repairing the installed tech does nothing for the scrapping price, so leave the launch thrusters, shields, hyperdrive broken. (You can make it your current ship in the anomaly and then teleport to an SS to scrap it, no need to fix launch thrusters or pulse engine.) Repairing the slots in the technology tab also does nothing for the scrapping price.
